Endor Health is an authorized Omnipod distributor offering direct insurance billing and free delivery across Canada. Here is everything you need to know to place your first order.
Do I need a prescription to order Omnipod pods through Endor?
For most patients, no. If you are paying upfront and submitting receipts to your private insurer for reimbursement, you do not need a prescription on file with us. A prescription is only required if your plan supports direct billing and we are submitting the claim on your behalf.
Do I need to transfer my prescription from my current supplier?
No. If you are in BC, your pharmacist can write your Omnipod prescription directly through PharmaNet. There is nothing to transfer. If you have been ordering from Bayshore or another supplier, we can continue your prescription on our end as long as it is on your PharmaNet profile. If you are outside BC, a prescription is not required for most orders.
Do I need to cancel my existing auto-order with my current supplier?
Yes. If you are on an automatic reorder cycle with your current supplier, contact them directly to cancel it before placing your first Endor order. They will need to hear from you to confirm the cancellation. Allow some time between cancelling your auto-order and placing your first order with us to avoid any overlap or gap in supply.
Do I need to have completed Omnipod training before I can order?
Yes, in practice. Most patients ordering Omnipod pods have completed training through their care team or Insulet before starting. Endor does not provide pump training directly. If you have not completed training yet, connect with your endocrinologist or diabetes educator first.

Do I need a prescription for Omnipod in Ontario?
Not for most patients. Since the majority of Ontario orders are pay-and-submit, a prescription is not required. If your plan allows direct billing, we will need your policy details and a prescription on
How does pay-and-submit work in Ontario?
You pay upfront when you order. We include an official pharmacy receipt in your package with everything your private insurer needs to process your reimbursement claim: date, drug name, DIN, quantity, prescribing doctor, your name, amount charged, and pharmacy details with pharmacist signature.
What if I have ADP coverage?
ADP supply grants are paid directly to you in four quarterly payments of $600, for a total of $2,400 per year. This is separate from your order with Endor. We do not bill ADP directly. If you have both private insurance and ADP coverage, your private plan covers what it covers and you can apply your ADP grant toward any remaining balance.

Does Endor direct bill BC PharmaCare for Omnipod pods?
Yes, for patients enrolled in an eligible PharmaCare plan. Pods for all Omnipod systems are covered as insulin pump supplies under BC PharmaCare. No Special Authority approval is required for pods specifically. We bill PharmaCare directly through PharmaNet on your behalf.
What if I am new to Omnipod and need the Omnipod 5 starter kit?
The Omnipod 5 starter kit requires Special Authority approval before PharmaCare will cover it. Your endocrinologist or diabetes specialist submits the request to PharmaCare on your behalf. Once approved, you will receive a written confirmation letter. You will need this letter before purchasing the starter kit, as PharmaCare cannot provide retroactive coverage for purchases made before approval is confirmed. Omnipod DASH is available at no cost through PharmaCare regardless of your plan or deductible, with no Special Authority required for the device itself.
What if my Omnipod prescription is not on PharmaNet?
[PENDING CONFIRMATION]
How much will PharmaCare cover?
Patients on Plan B, Plan C, Plan F, or Plan W receive 100% coverage for the Omnipod 5 starter kit and pods. Patients on Fair PharmaCare pay out of pocket until their deductible is met, then PharmaCare covers 70% of costs, and 100% after reaching the family maximum.

Can I get all my prescriptions from the Endor app, even for non-diabetes products?
Yes! Through the Endor app, you get served by full-service pharmacy partners that can fill prescriptions for any condition—not just diabetes-related ones.
Can you bill all public and private insurance plans?
Our pharmacy partners can directly bill all private insurance plans (i.e. benefits plans through school or work) and public drug programs in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia, as well as NIHB coverage. Our ability to bill certain items may depend on your plan’s coverage.
Can you deliver to all provinces in Canada?
Yes, we offer delivery from coast to coast and to the territories. Delivery is always free.
Can you ship insulin or other drugs that need to be kept cool? How does that work?
Yes, we safely ship insulin and other refrigerated medications in insulated packaging that keeps them between 2–8°C until they reach your door. We also take measures to time your cold-chain deliveries so they arrive quickly.
Can you write a new prescription for me?
Depending on your province, pharmacists practicing through our licensed pharmacy partners may prescribe for certain healthcare needs, in accordance with provincial regulations. We offer a virtual walk-in clinic service through the app where you can see a licensed prescriber for $0, with appointments as soon as same-day. Our pharmacists can also write prescriptions for certain healthcare needs depending on your province.
Do I need to be home for my deliveries?
We follow the pharmacy regulations in your province when shipping prescription drugs. In BC and Alberta, signature is typically optional for most orders. In the rest of Canada, signature is required when you’re ordering prescription drugs. If you’re just ordering diabetes devices (pump supplies and CGMs), signature is optional. In all cases, you’ll be able to see and select your signature options during checkout in our app.
How does adding prescriptions work?
It is free and easy to add your prescriptions. You can add prescriptions to the Endor Health app through 1) Transfer from another pharmacy, 2) Photo upload of your RX, or 3) Direct Fax from your Doctor. All three methods are free and typically takes about one business day until your prescriptions are available in your account. At any time if you change your mind, you can move your prescriptions back at no cost.
What does Endor cost?
The Endor app is completely free to download and use. You’ll only pay regular pharmacy prices for prescriptions, with no hidden fees—and many customers even save money with us.
When I open a chat, am I talking to AI?
No, all chats that you will experience in our apps are with real humans and expert care providers.
Why do your pharmacies have a different name?
Endor partners with licensed local pharmacies across Canada, so your medication is filled by one of our trusted pharmacy partners—even though you’re using the Endor app.
